Meet Frances

Yoga holds a profound significance in my life, guiding me to transcend the past, embrace the present with contentment, and envision the future of my dreams! I am grateful to yoga for the peace of mind, well-spring of self-love, & expansive understanding it brings. I am especially grateful for yoga & community through hard times. I am deeply grateful for you, the people on the walk we share in this life. I seek to share yoga & pilates with others as a therapeutic pathway towards inner peace, harmony of body, mind, and heart.

Meet Lauren

Yoga and meditation found me in 2006. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was in need of healing. As a former competitive gymnast turned marathon runner, at the age of 23, my back and knees were in constant pain. Within a week of practicing original hot yoga, I discovered that, with breath and stillness, I could feel good within my body and move on earth with ease and light. I felt called to become a teacher and in 2016, I left my career in education and went to training in Australia. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my own practice as well as teach in studios across the southeast of the United States. In addition to original hot yoga, I practice intermediate and advanced gosh yoga, yin yoga, and vipassana meditation. I love a good wall for back bending and wall walking! I am blessed to be here as a teacher, practitioner, and lifelong learner at Hot Yoga Hilo. It is an honor and joy for me to serve humanity by sharing the gift of yoga and witnessing students' growth and transformation daily. Miracles happen here. Come heal and grow with us!

Meet Lindsay

Yoga came into my life in 2006. I was very inspired to do yoga because of an injury in my spine, which became much stronger after a consistent practice. After a few years of practicing at Higher Ground Hot Yoga in Ogden Utah, I was invited to a teacher training with Bel and Emily Carpenter doing ‘Vimana Yoga’. I had no idea the doors that could open through my own understanding of myself and the community. It’s very humbling to guide people to a deeper part of themselves physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. Outside of yoga, I’m passionate about playing my guitar and singing my heart. I really enjoy creating cozy spaces and being out in nature sitting still with my sweet pooch, Lily.

Meet Cassidy

Cassidy began teaching Yoga in 2017. After being raised in the fast-paced world of Southern California, Yoga taught her how to slow down, listen to her body, and breathe. She has taught classes in different areas of the world, from California to Hawai’i, Costa Rica and Guatemala. As a Vinyasa-based instructor, she leads classes that encourage students to synchronize movement with breath, fostering introspection and inner harmony. By sharing the healing power of Yoga, Cassidy aims to cultivate a deeper connection to self and surroundings, guiding students towards union with the inner and outer world.

Meet Ava

Ava’s yoga journey has spanned 20 years of practice. The path has led her to train and teach in many styles including: Therapeutic Hatha, Hot Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin. She honors the tradition of many lineages and weaves the tools of each throughout creative and unique classes. She is a passionate student of yoga philosophy and believes in creating a collaborative learning atmosphere that is rooted in and supported by all 8 limbs of yoga.
